What a lovely day in Kiama. Gorgeous sunny day and just the right temperature. We called in at Silica for a nice family lunch and were very glad we did. There’s a nice view of the water there from on high upstairs.
All meals were terrific here. My barramundi was a beauty. Cooked perfectly including with wonderful crispy skin. Rick Stein himself couldn’t have done it better. The world’s most beautiful woman loved her two entree size meals as well - a very tender calamari and an engagingly good eggplant dish. Two of our party had fish and chips and declared them very good. Another had gnocchi and enjoyed it immensely. Our coffees to finish were very tidy as well.
Service was lovely throughout. Out predominant server from Holland was excellent.
This is a very sound bistro. Highly recommended.
A nice spot for a coffee by the beach with an amazing view. Super bubbly staff and the coffee was pretty great as well, would return next time I'm in Kiama
We were blown away by the quality of the food and excellent service provided by staff. Very flexible menu, some of us had 2 courses while others had 3 courses, which meant that we could share desserts. The eye fillet was one of the best steaks I've ever had, comparable to Mayura Station in Millicent, SA. Octopus was also a stand-out, and I would happily go there again just for this dish. A very enjoyable night out. Thank you team!
